Innovative Designs and Publishing presents: Berks County Living: The Valley's Daily Lifestyle Magazine

» 2009 » November

Working with our team of 40 passionate and talented writers and photographers is one of my favorite aspects of my job as editor of Berks County Living.

Each month, the creativity of our freelancers continues to amaze and delight me. I feel honored to be the first person to read their articles and see their photos. As the issue gradually comes together – in the hands of our amazing art director Melissa Rose – it takes on a life of its own as the words and the images complement each other.

Most of our freelancers work full-time jobs. Many also care for children and other family members. Our freelancers are involved in the Greater Reading community in many ways as volunteers, making our hometown a better place to live and work. They are very busy people. They write and shoot photos for BCL because they love to write and take photos.

I look forward to utilizing this blog to introduce you to our talented freelancers, one at a time. So please keep reading BCL and checking out this website.

Time for me to check my e-mail – I wonder what fascinating article or fabulous photograph I might find? Life is good!

Cheers!
Francine

There is nothing quite like coming home.

Once I step inside my home, I am greeted by my favorite things – my art, my photos, my books, my two son’s endless number of toys and precious school art projects…

At Berks County Living, we love to feature unusual homes in our “Living in Style” section. Some of the homes we have highlighted are historic structures that have been lovingly restored by the homeowners. Some are beautiful examples of specific architectural styles. Some feature incredible outdoor elements, such as pools, ponds and gardens. We have also shared homes with our readers because they showcase fabulous interior decorating.

Do you know a house that should appear in Berks County Living? Maybe it is your home, or the home of a friend or family member or co-worker. Send me an e-mail at fscoboria@berkscountyliving.com and tell me about it.

Now it is time to enjoy my home sweet home!

Cheers!

Francine
