So what do you do with a great sense of style? Share it with others, like interior decorator Andrea Folino. As the owner and inspiration of Tendenza Fashion and Interiors, a part of The Folino Group, Andrea brings her impeccable design and eye for all things fashionable to homes and businesses in our area. But she doesn’t want to impose her style on you; she wants to help you recognize the style you already possess.

Who would you rather work for, Pottery Barn or J.Crew?

This is a tough one. It’s like asking a mother to choose her favorite child. I did work for J.Crew when I was in college, so I guess I’d have to say Pottery Barn since I haven’t had the opportunity to workfor their company. Although I really miss my J.Crew discount…Recently, you decorated your new office.

Where did you get all your ideas?

From my closet. I absolutely love to wear black and white. It was also inspired by Coco Chanel, an idol of mine.

What must every room have?

Something from your travels to remind youof your trip, and good lighting. That is a must in my book.

Who is your favorite decorator? Who is your favorite fashion designer?

I really admire the designs of Kelly Wearstler and Mary McDonald.Their designs are always so fresh and innovative. Diane VonFurstenberg is probably my favorite fashion designer, not only for herdesigns, but also for the amazing businesswoman that she is. She’s very inspirational.

If you could decorate one place in Berks County, were would it be?

It would most likely be many of the dentist and doctors’ offices in our area. We already hate being there, so at least make us wait in an enjoyable environment!

So what inspired Andrea’s office makeover? Check out her inspiration board (above) to see how it all came together. Andrea’s office was Chanel inspired and the following quote is displayed on the wall of her office to help inspire her every day. -by Amanda Dietrich Zeigler
