The Progressive Insurance Atlantic City Boat Show will be making waves - and giving boaters, sailors, fisherman and families dreams of warm weather bliss. Visitors can climb aboard hundreds of boats for every budget and lifestyle, including luxury motor and sailing yachts, sport fishers, performance boats, and personal watercraft, plus shop deals on the newest boating accessories and electronics. In addition to shopping for that dream boat, visitors of all ages can escape the chill of winter with five days of summer fun, enjoying a variety of interactive activities and educational seminars. Experienced boaters who like to get their hands dirty will learn the tricks of the trade through demonstrations, hands-on clinics, and free boating advice in the new Fred's Shed. Other special show features include SAILFEST, a dedicated area with sailboats and accessories; the DEMA Be a Diver Pool, where visitors can submerge themselves into the fun and excitement of Scuba diving in a tropically warm pool; the Powerboat Docking Challenge; and a special appearance by Abby Sunderland, who set sail in an attempt to become the youngest solo sailor to circumnavigate the globe. Spring Township Library will be hosting a paranormal lecture by Ghost Hunters, Inc. on Feb. 18 at 6pm. Guests can expect to learn about past cases, see real photos and video, hear real audio and see the equipment used to investigate paranormal activity. Ghost Hunters, Inc. has been researching, investigating, and tracking ghosts since 1974. The organization uses hi-tech equipment to prove ghosts exist through scientific methods by eliminating all possible man-made causes for the hauntings. Ghost Hunters, Inc. has been investigating paranormal activity in Southeastern PA for nearly 30 years. This presentation is free to the public, but space is limited.
